EVENT | 2018 Symposium on Illegal Wildlife Trade, 9-10 October, London

SAVE THE DATE! The 2018 Symposium on the Illegal Wildlife Trade takes place in Central London on 9th & 10th October, in partnership with OMP-IWT, BIOSEC, DICE Kent and the Lancaster Environmental Centre.

SAVE THE DATE! We are pleased to announce the 2018 Symposium on the Illegal Wildlife Trade, hosted by the Oxford Martin Programme on the Illegal Wildlife Trade in partnership with  BIOSEC University of SheffieldLancaster Environmental Centre and the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology. 

The event takes place on 9-10 October 2018, and brings together IWT researchers and collaborators with government representatives, in advance of the Royal Society London 2018 Conference on the Illegal Wildlife Trade at Lancester House on 10-11 October.

 Day 1 of the symposium will bring together those carrying out research addressing IWT, and their collaborators from around the world, to discuss new ways to address this global threat more effectively. Day 2 will be reaching out to government representatives attending the London Conference, and other colleagues in a range of sectors, with interactive discussions and exhibits on IWT research.
