NEWS | BIOSEC RESEARCHERS AT RGS-IBG 2019

The 2019 Annual International Conference in London, from 28 - 30 August 2019.

BIOSEC researchers Hannah Dickinson and Laure Joanny will be at this year’s RGS-IBG Annual International Conference, held in London.

Laure’s paper “Systematised data collection in protected areas: supporting or surveilling field conservation staff?” is part of the ‘Global challenges and digital geographies: Critical Perspectives of Intersections, Appropriations and Opportunities (1)’ panel. She will be presenting on Friday 30 August 2019, Session 3 (14:40 – 16:20).

Laure is also part of the ‘Global challenges and digital geographies: Critical Perspectives of Intersections, Appropriations and Opportunities (2)‘ debate and discussions on Friday 30 August 2019, Session 4 (16:50 – 18:30).

Both Laure and Hannah will also take part in ‘Emerging Voices in Political Geography: Reclaiming Success‘ on Thursday 29 August 2019, Session 3 (14:40 – 16:20). They will speak on ‘Cultivating a supportive co-working environment’.
