EVENT| Rosaleen Duffy at Pelicam International Film Festival

Rosaleen Duffy has been invited to talk at Pelicam International Film Festival, one of the leading green documentary festivals in Eastern Europe. The event 'PelicamTalks' will take place online on Sat 18 July and will be live-streamed.

Rosaleen Duffy will participate in the 9th edition of Pelicam International Film Festival about Environment and People, taking place 10 -19 July 2020.

Pelicam is one of the most important green documentary festivals in Eastern Europe and is a member of the Green Film Network. In previous years, the festival has taken place in the Danube Delta and includes film screenings, talks and lectures, open-air concerts and photo exhibitions. However due to COVID-19, this year’s festival will be moving online.

Rosaleen will be part of the PelicamTalk panel ‘Biodiversity between extinction and species return’ on Sat 18 July at 16:30. The other guests are Floor van der Meulen – Director of The Last Male on Earth, Monica Vasile – researcher at Maastricht University and part of the Moving Animals project and Martin Páv – Director of Wolves at the Borders.

PelicamTalks is a special section of the festival that reunites international experts, researchers and filmmakers to discuss some of the most challenging global environmental issues raised by the documentaries included in the selection.

The discussion will be live-streamed on online.pelicam.ro and on the Pelicam page.
