Anh joined the BIOSEC project as a post-doctoral researcher in August 2019. She completed her PhD in International Development at the University of Bath where her thesis was entitled ‘Civil society activism in authoritarian contexts: (re)structuring state-society relations in Vietnam’. She has an MA in International Development from the University of Bradford as well as an MA in Development Evaluation and Management from the University of Antwerp.
Anh’s research project is entitled Authoritarianism and embryonic conservationism: The politics of anti-illegal wildlife trade NGOs in one party rule of Vietnam.
